As India is playing in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against New Zealand, fans across the country are praying for India’s triumph in this cricket match. Fans are offering Chadar at Dargahs and performing Havans all over the country.

A fan outside a Dargah in Ajmer, Rajasthan said, “We are offering 'Chadar' and praying for team India's victory in the Champions Trophy final clash against New Zealand. India will surely win the match.”

Cricket fans in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, were seen holding photos of Indian Team Captain Rohit Sharma in their hands while they were performing Havan and praying to god for India’s win.

Iqbal Ansari, a former Babri Masjid plaintiff, is hoping that India defeats New Zealand in the final. He said, “This is Ayodhya, a 'dharmnagri'; hence, we keep making 'dua' for our country, Hindu-Muslim, 'Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb.' We pray for peace in the country and for those whose psyche is not up to the mark. India are playing today in final, we have prayed for win. This is the month of Ramzan, we are making 'dua' for win. Allah says that if we pray for others, our wishes are also fulfilled.”

In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Indian cricket team supporters perform 'havan' at the Radha Madhav Temple to pray for the team's victory in today's final clash against New Zealand.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final is being played at the Dubai International Stadium. The toss was won by New Zealand, and they chose to bat first.
