Pakistan on Sunday won the toss against India and decided to bat first in an all-important Champions Trophy match here at the Dubai Stadium. Pakistan have made one change to the squad bringing in Imam-ul-Haq in place of injured opener Fakhar Zaman. India kept their side unchanged that demolished Bangladesh by five wickets.
Pakistan will be without the services of the architect of 2017 Champions Trophy Final, Fakhar Zaman who injured himself in the first match of the tournament against New Zealand. India having the chance to pretty much eliminate the reigning champions who look the of the side that clinched the trophy back in 2017.
They can take some heart from the fact that they beat India in the last two games played in Dubai, albeit in a different format. With their survival on the line, Pakistan's players are feeling the pressure from all sides. Their bowling and batting floundered in the tournament opener against New Zealand, leaving the Mohammad Rizwan side teetering on the cliff. The bowlers were way off the mark and the batters struggled to accelerate.
