England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bat first in the third ODI against India at Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday. India made several changes to their lineup with Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami being rested. Varun Chakravarthy was unavailable due to a calf injury. Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Arshdeep Singh replaced them in the squad. For England, Tom Banton came into the side in place of one player. Buttler stated that the conditions may favour spin later in the game.
