A well planned bowling display by India saw defending champions Pakistan bundle out for 241 in their all important Champions Trophy clash against arch rivals in Dubai. Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan stitched a crucial 104-run stand to help Pakistan recover from 47 for 2 after the side decided to bat first. Shakeel scored 62 while Rizwan slammed 46.
After the duo departed, Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals and ended up at a score below 250. Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for India with figures of 3 for 40. Hardik Pandya was also impressive with the ball with 2 for 31, while Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and Harshit Rana scalped one wicket apiece. Babar Azam played a few good-looking shots earlier in the day, however, he wasn't able to carry on and convert his start into a formidable total. The pitch isn't that easy to bat on, it's quite sluggish, hence it will be interesting to see how the Indian batters go about in the run chase..
