The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly called a pre-season meeting with all 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) captains and team managers ahead of the IPL 2025 season. According to reports, the meeting will take place at the BCCI headquarters, the Cricket Centre, in Mumbai on Thursday, March 20.

According to a report by Cricbuzz, the session is scheduled to last an hour and will cover new changes and updates for the upcoming season. Following the briefing, the captains will attend sponsor-related activities at the Taj Hotel. The event will conclude with the traditional pre-season photo shoot featuring all team captains.

The IPL 2025 season will kick off on March 22 with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The tournament will run from March 22 to May 25, featuring 74 matches across 13 venues, including 12 double-headers. The Playoffs will be hosted in Hyderabad and Kolkata, with the final set to take place on May 25.
