After a great win at ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Indian fans are now waiting for the next best cricket series - Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL). IPL will start on March 22. Axar Patel is the captain of Delhi Capitals this year. Delhi Capitals’ Batsman Karun Nair said that he is going to be a great captain and shared his plans for this season of IPL.

Speaking about his plans for IPL, he said, “I am really happy to be back at the Delhi Capitals, I am excited to join the side and to play with everyone. I will treat the game as important as the last one. I didn’t change much at all; I just trusted the process and kept it going throughout the tournament, and that’s what is planned for this season.”

Karun Nair talked about playing with KL Rahul once more and lauded DC captain Axar Patel, stating he will be a terrific leader. He said, “Axar has been around for a long time now, and he is going to be a great captain. He is someone who knows all the facets of the game and understands everyone’s situation and roles. It is exciting to be back with KL (Rahul). We have played together with each other since the very first day.”

This season of the Indian Premier League saw Karun Nair rejoin the Delhi Capitals, and the franchisee came up with the brilliant idea of using him as the hero of the hit movie KGF to advertise his arrival. 

On the international level, Karun Nair might be in the playing XI for the England Test Series.
