Indian Premier League started on March 22 and the ten teams will play 74 matches till May 25. Gujarat Titans’ Kagiso Rabada praised Mumbai Indians’ Jasprit Bumrah for his bowling skills. He said Jasprit Bumrah knows how to work Batsman out.
He said, “I think he (Jasprit Bumrah) is very accurate and he's got a very awkward action. His action is not conventional at all. So, that in itself is a trick for Batsman. He's very unique. And he knows how to work Batsman out. And he's got the deliveries to do it. So, in a nutshell, I think that's what makes him good. And he's sharp. He's got some pace. So, that's why I think he's good.”

When Kagiso Rabada was asked if he is considering leading his team and taking up national captaincy like Australia's Pat Cummins, he said, “Yeah, well, I have been asked this question quite a lot. And it's made me consider it. And I think it's going to have to take some maturity on my side. But if the question was thrown to me by Cricket South Africa or by one of the coaches, I would consider it heavily and already I was thinking of what sort of shift it would take. Because now you can't just focus on yourself, you have to focus on everyone else. And not just on-field stuff, but also off-field stuff. And I think it would take a maturity most definitely. And a whole lot of planning that would have to go with it. So, I would consider it heavily if that question was asked of me."
