Chasing a target of 170, GT reached the total in 17.2 overs to secure their second win of the season. Buttler led the charge with a blistering 73 off 39 balls, smashing five fours and six sixes. Sai Sudharsan provided solid support with a composed 49 off 36 deliveries, hitting seven fours and a six. Their partnership ensured a comfortable chase despite RCB’s strong bowling attack.

Earlier, Mohammed Siraj was the standout performer for RCB, taking three wickets for just 19 runs in his three-over spell. Sai Kishore contributed with two wickets while conceding only 22 runs in four overs. Prasidh Krishna, Arshad Khan, and Ishant Sharma claimed one wicket each, but Rashid Khan struggled, giving away 54 runs without taking a wicket.

RCB’s batting effort was led by Liam Livingstone, who scored 54 off 40 balls with five sixes and a four. Tim David played a quickfire knock of 32 off 18, hitting three fours and two sixes. Jitesh Sharma added 33 off 21 deliveries with five boundaries and a six. Despite their contributions, RCB managed only 169/8 in 20 overs.

With this win, Gujarat Titans improved their record to two wins and one loss, while RCB faced their first defeat after winning two consecutive matches.
