After smashing his fifth fifty of the season against the reigning champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens on Monday, Sai Sudharsan solidified his place among the top five most influential batsmen in the present Indian Premier League (IPL). The southpaw, who started the innings with Shubman Gill, first had trouble with his strokes before opening his arms for a solid 52 off just 36 balls, which included one six and six fours. Rahmanullah Gurbaz apprehended him, and Andre Russell eventually dismissed him.

With batting impacts of 420.9 and 350.4, respectively, Nicholas Pooran of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Priyansh Arya, the opener for the Punjab Kings, claim the first two spots on the list. Gujarat Titans scored 198/3 in 20 overs due to an outstanding innings from Sudharsan and a spectacular 90 from captain Shubman Gill.
