Before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Monday, April 21, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, commentator Danny Morrison made fun of Shubman Gill. When the Knight Riders won the toss and decided to field first, Morrison asked with a smile, “You're looking good, wedding bells around the corner? Getting married soon?” Gill changed his position, apparently uncomfortable with the unexpected personal question. Gill, taken aback for a moment, appeared a little uncomfortable but smiled and quickly brushed it off. He laughed uneasily and answered, "No, nothing like that."
The audience laughed at the humorous moment, which also gave the pre-game teasing some flair.
