Mohammed Siraj recently performed Umrah in Mecca ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian fast bowler shared a picture from the holy city on social media with the caption "ALHAMDULILAH."

Siraj is a reserve player for the Indian squad along with Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal.  

India's first match in the tournament will be against Bangladesh, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, on February 20 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India’s match against arch-rivals Pakistan is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai. India’s final group match is against New Zealand.

India made two changes to their final Champions Trophy squad, leaving out Jasprit Bumrah and Jaiswal for Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy.

India squad for Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill (Vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (WK), Rishabh Pant (WK), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Varun Chakravarthy.

Non-travelling substitutes: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, Shivam Dube.
