Rajasthan Royals' newly appointed head coach, Rahul Dravid who recently suffered a leg injury at the Rajasthan Royals pre-season camp on crutches in Jaipur, much to the surprise of the cricket fans. Dravid spent five seasons with the Rajasthan Royals from 2011 to 2015. He began his coaching career with the franchise back in 2014 when he transitioned from serving as the captain to being the mentor.

The 52-year-old rejoined the Royals camp as a head coach after his coaching tenure with Team India came to an end following the T20 World Cup triumph last year .Rajasthan Royals confirmed that Dravid suffered a leg injury while playing cricket in Bengaluru. Dravid, playing alongside his 16-year-old son Anvay, appeared in discomfort just two deliveries into his innings after reportedly pulling a calf muscle. Despite the pain, he continued to bat, scoring 43 off 66 balls in a crucial fourth-wicket stand with Anvay, although Vijaya CC ultimately lost the match.

Dravid was seen having a conversation with young talents like Riyan Parag and sharing a moment with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who demonstrated shadow shots while seeking advice from the legendary batter. Seated with crutches in hand, Dravid closely observed the entire session on Wednesday.
