Radio jockey Mahvash, who has been linked to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal in recent months, was spotted cheering for him during Punjab Kings’ IPL 2025 match against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday. Her presence at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Chandigarh has reignited dating rumours surrounding the two.
Mahvash shared a video from the stadium on her Instagram stories, enthusiastically supporting Punjab Kings. In her post, she called the players "heroes" and wrote, "Go Punjab! You win or you lose. You stars. Doesn’t matter. Go team."
Dating Rumours Gain Momentum
Speculation about Chahal and Mahvash first surfaced in December 2024 after she shared a Christmas photo featuring herself, Chahal, and friends. The rumours intensified when the cricketer was later seen with a mysterious woman, whom social media users identified as Mahvash. Recently, both attended a Champions Trophy match in Dubai, and their photos from the event spread widely online.
Mahvash Denies Speculation
Mahvash addressed the rumours in a social media post, calling them baseless. She wrote, "Some articles and speculations have been circulating online. It’s funny to see how baseless these rumours are. If you are seen with someone of the opposite gender, does that mean you are dating them?"
She further stated, "I have been patient for days, but I won’t let PR teams drag my name into this to cover up other people’s image. Let people live in peace with their friends and family in tough times."
Chahal has not commented on the speculation. His recent separation from choreographer Dhanashree Verma has already drawn significant attention, but he has not publicly addressed his relationship status.
