Talking about the match, India made a strong start in their T20 World Cup campaign with a convincing 60-run victory over Bangladesh.

Rishabh Pant's half-century and a fiery pace assault by the Indian bowlers set the tone early in the match. Pant, staking his claim as India's primary wicketkeeper-batsman, scored a fluent 53 runs. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya showcased his return to form with a quickfire 40 off just 23 balls, including three consecutive sixes off Tanvir Islam.

Opting to bat first, India posted a competitive total of 182/5 on a challenging two-paced pitch in New York. In response, Bangladesh struggled to keep up, managing only 122/9 in their 20 overs. The Bangladeshi innings faltered from the beginning as Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj's early breakthroughs left them reeling at 27/3 in the Powerplay.

Despite a resilient partnership between Shakib Al Hasan (28) and Mahmudullah (40), Bangladesh never recovered from the early setbacks. The Indian seamers, led by Arshdeep Singh's 2 wickets for 12 runs, maintained pressure throughout, ensuring a comfortable victory for India.

Earlier, India's innings began cautiously with Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson opening the batting. Rohit (23) and Samson (1) fell early, but Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav (31 off 18 balls) counterattacked brilliantly. Pant's fluent half-century and Hardik Pandya's late blitz powered India to a formidable total.

India's performance in the warm-up match highlighted their strength in both batting and bowling departments, setting a positive tone ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Brief Score: India 182/5 (Rishabh Pant 53, Hardik Pandya 40; Mahmudullah 1-16) defeated Bangladesh 122/9 (Mahmudullah 40, Shakib Al Hasan 28; Arshdeep Singh 2-12) by 60 runs.

This warm-up victory is crucial for India as they prepare for their opening match in the T20 World Cup, where they will face Pakistan on Friday.
