Ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, the focus has shifted to finalising the list of retained players. The transfer window will remain open until November 26, 2023. However, some big names are likely to earn good money in the IPL after their impressive show in World Cup 2023.

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has played in IPL before. All eyes will be on Starc if he registers for the upcoming IPL auction. Starc can also emerge as the most expensive buy.

The Sri Lankan team could not do anything special in this year's World Cup, but Dilshan Madushanka impressed everyone with his amazing spell. Almost all the Sri Lankan players disappointed the fans but Madushanka was an exception.

Afghanistan created history by defeating teams like England and Pakistan. Spinners played a vital role in Afghanistan's victory. All-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai took 353 runs and 7 wickets in 9 matches. Therefore, he is likely to emerge as a hot property in the auction.

Rachin Ravindra of Indian origin emerged as a star of New Zealand from this year's World Cup. He scored 578 runs in 10 matches and played a major role in helping the Kiwi team reach the semi-finals.

Netherlands all-rounder De Leede caught everyone's attention with his all-round play. He managed to take 16 wickets in 9 matches.

The England team upset the cricket world along with their English fans this year. The team that won the 2019 title had to struggle in India. But David Mala was an exception.
