The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to declare the Class 10th and Class 12th board exam results for the academic year 2024–25 in May 2025. According to reports based on previous years' trends, the HSC result 2025 is likely to be out in the third week of next month, while the SSC result 2025 will be released online in the last week.
Class 12's examinations were held from February 11 to March 18 this year, and class 10's exams took place from February 21 to March 17. Once the result is declared, students and parents can visit the official website at mahresult.nic.in.
For the last several years, MSBSHSE has announced HSC results before the class 10th results. In 2024, the 12th results were announced on May 21, and the SSC results on May 27. A similar pattern was expected this year, with HSC results likely in the third week of May 2025 and SSC results expected in the last week of May.
The Maharashtra board Chairman, Sharad Gosavi, told The Indian Express newspaper that Class 10th and 12 results will be declared by May 15. This year, over 15 lakh HSC students, including 8,10,348 boys, 6,94,652 girls, and 37 transgender students, registered for their MSBSHSE exam.
The overall passing percentage for 2024 was at 93.37%, with girls (95.44%) outperforming boys (91.60%). Meanwhile, the SSC exams recorded an impressive pass rate of 95.81%, with the Konkan division leading performance at both levels.
