Superstar Akshay Kumar joined a host of politicians in paying tribute to soldiers of central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on the second anniversary of the Pulawama attack. Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay shared post featuring pictures and details of all martyrs of the Pulwama attack. In the caption, the Toilet: Ek Prem Katha star remembered their sacrifice and stated that the nation will never forget these martyrs and will always be indebted to them. “Remembering our brave hearts of #PulwamaAttack, we will always remain indebted for your supreme sacrifice,” Akshay captioned his post followed by a folded hands emoticon.

Earlier, defence minister Rajnath Singh had said that the government continues to stand with the families of the soldiers. "I pay homage to those brave @crpfindia personnel who sacrificed their lives in 2019 Pulwama terror attack. India will never forget their service to the nation and their supreme sacrifice. We continue to stand with their families, who had to suffer due to this attack," tweeted Singh. Forty CRPF personnel had lost their lives in the terror attack after a suicide bomber rammed an IED-laden vehicle into the convoy carrying them.On the work front, Akshay has some interesting movies in the pipeline. While he has wrapped the shooting of Aanand L Rai directorial Atrangi Re with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, he is currently shooting for Farhad Samji’s Bachchan Pandey with Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez. Akki will also be seen in Ranjit M Tewari directorial Bell Bottom and YRF’s Prithviraj which will also mark big Bollywood debut of Manushi Chhillar.
