Many Bollywood celebrties have joined the #BlackLivesMatter protests virtually and showed their solidarity to the movement, there are a few things that it's citizens needs too be careful of within our own borders too. That is, India’s own fixation with forms of racism that have been in existence for far too long, and overlooked too often to serve personal interests.

One of the most obvious proof of our ignorance related to the matter lies in popularising songs that are discriminatory towards a particular skin colour. Here are 5 such Hindi songs which propagate racism and people ought to be called racist for having turned them into chartbusters.
