ACP Pradyuman Aka Shivaji Satam's Character to Die In CID, Says Reports

CID is one of the iconic investigating dramas of Indian television it had 21 years run on TV and now is running on Netflix. However, there is important news that has left CID fan in shock is that The ACP Pradyuman character will be no more part of the show. ACP Pradyuman played by veteran actor Shivaji Satam who defined the role of leadership will be dying in upcoming episode when he gets involved in a bomb blast mishap. 

As per the India Todat's report the  In upcoming episodes of CID, the villain Barbussa (Tigmanshu Dhulia) returns after six years and plants a bomb to kill the CID team. This bomb reportedly results in the death of ACP Pradyuman. According to India Today Digital, the episode was recently filmed and is intended to be a shocking event for viewers. To maintain the surprise, further details are being kept secret. While CID has previously resurrected deceased characters, current plans do not include bringing ACP Pradyuman back, though the producers may reconsider based on audience reaction.

Earlier this year, Shivaji Satam highlighted the show's enduring popularity, noting that viewers, especially young people, admire police officers as heroes and enjoy seeing their stories portrayed in an engaging, larger-than-life format. CID, originally launched in 1998, was relaunched on Sony TV earlier this year and is also available on Netflix. An animated version, CID Squad – Naye Yug Ka Naya CID, has also been created.
