Marathi actor-director Subodh Bhave has been tested positive for COVID-19. He shared that his wife Manjiri and elder son Malhar has also tested positive for COVID-19. He added that they are in home-quarantine and are being treated under supervision of doctors. Confirming the same on Twitter, the actor wrote, "Me, Manjiri and my elder son Kanha have all corona positive. We have quarantined ourselves at home. We are undergoing treatment under the guidance of an expert Dr.Take care and be safe. Ganpati Bappa Morya"

Soon after he shared the post, his fans, friend and colleagues from Marathi industry wished for his speedy recovery. Bhave's last release Vijeta, which was a sports drama had hit the theatres on March 13. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the cinema halls were shut down.Subodh Bhave was also seen in the popular TV show Tula Pahate Re playing Vikrant Saranjame, a middle-aged business tycoon. His performance on the show garnered much appreciation from fans and audience alike. . A popular face in Marathi cinema,the actor, is known for films like 'Katyar Kaljat Ghusali' 'and Lokmanya-Ek Yugpurush.
