Parvathy Thiruvothu who has shared screen space with late actor Irrfan Khan in their Hindi film, Qarib Qarib Singlle, took no time to criticize Karan Johar's idea. She commented 'Yuck'and shunned the project. Parvathy also got a lot of applauds for her bold comment on the project.

Parvathy is known for her outspoken nature, not someone to mince words, a staunch feminist and idealist she took down Vijay Devarakonda’s Arjun Reddy right in front of its lead actor during the famous Anupama Chopra Actor’s roundtable talk.
