Akshaye Khanna’s Intense Portrayal of Aurangzeb in ‘Chhaava’ Earns Praise from AIMIM Leader Waris Pathan

The movie 'Chhaava', directed by Laxman Utekar, Starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna is currently making headlines and performing well at the box office. Every role in the film has been well received, with Vicky Kaushal’s portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj earning widespread appreciation. Additionally, Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal of Aurangzeb has also been highly praised.  

Recently, AIMIM leader Waris Pathan met Akshaye Khanna and commended his performance. This was Akshaye’s first public appearance since the release of 'Chhaava', as he had not participated in any promotional events. Dressed simply in a T-shirt and jeans, he appeared in a casual yet composed manner. After meeting Akshaye, Waris Pathan remarked, "Today, I met actor Akshaye Khanna, who played the role of Aurangzeb in the movie Chhaava. Akshaye is a wonderful person. If a Muslim actor had played the role of Aurangzeb, the situation might have been entirely different."*  

Akshaye Khanna’s performance in 'Chhaava' had been a topic of discussion since the release of the film’s teaser and trailer. His intense portrayal of Aurangzeb was met with acclaim, and audiences were particularly impressed by the on-screen dynamic between Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna. Many were surprised to see Akshaye in such a powerful role after several years.
