The last time Anurag Kashyap and Ranbir collaborated the duo failed to mark at the box-office as their second film together Jagga Jasoos was a big flop. Now the ace filmmaker in an interview spoke about his most ambitious project the Kishore Kumar biopic with Ranbir. Talking about the project Anurag revealed, " The Kishore Kumar biopic will happen for sure. Ranbir Kapoor and I are committed to it. But it depends on my availability and his dates. Ranbir's my first choice." Anurag confirming the project has piqued the interest of the fans as it put to rest the rumors of the film being reportedly shelved. 

On the professional front, Anurag is currently busy with his film 'Ludo.' It stars,  Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles. Talking about Ranbir, the Wake Up Sid,  actor also has some interesting projects lined up for 2020.  He will be collaborating with girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra which is produced by Karan Johar. Ranbir will also be seen along with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in Shamshera which has been produced by Aditya Chopra and is directed by Karan Malhotra.
