Subarna Jash an aspiring Bengali actress from Burdwan, has allegedly committed suicide. Her parents found her body hanging from the ceiling fan on Sunday (February 9) night, police sources suggest. She was rushed to the nearby hospital where she was declared dead by the doctors. Subarna’s body was sent for a post-mortem later. Subarna has done a few TV serials and was mostly seen in supporting roles. She was last seen in ‘Mayurpankhi’, playing the role of the protagonist’s friend. 

According to her family members, the actress was suffering from depression for quite some time now.Subarna, who is originally from Burdwan, came to Kolkata to pursue her studies. But she always wanted to be an actress. She was staying in Kolkata for her career. She started attending auditions and got a few supporting roles as well. Unfortunately, she couldn’t bag any meaty role.
