Anchor and actor T Narasimha Rao passed away this morning due to COVID-19 complications. He was reportedly admitted to a hospital in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad after he had breathing issues. TNR was popular for his chat show Frankly Speaking where he interviewed numerous celebs from Tollywood including Sumanth and Manchu Vishnu. Apart from hosting, TNR was also popular for his acting stints in several Telugu films. Notably, he was expected to be a part of Anil Ravipudi's upcoming film F3: Fun and Frustration starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Varun Tej in lead roles. He was supposed to shoot for the film, however, the shooting was halted owing to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The news of his demise has come as a shock to the industry with celebs pouring in condolence messages. Nani wrote, "Shocked to hear that TNR gaaru passed away .. have seen few of his interviews and he was the best when it came to his research and ability to get his guests to speak their heart out . Condolences and strength to the family." Director and actor Dev Katta can't believe TNR gaaru is no more. He tweeted, "Jst can’t believe TNR gaaru is no more..! Such a pleasant, committed and studious personality to interact wth! RIP May God empower us save each othr’s lives while our leaders invest their power in optics and building lifeless stone structures with their Stone Age brains!.
