Chhaava Moves a Young Boy to Tears, Vicky Kaushal Calls Viral Moment His 'Greatest Victory (Watch Video)

Vicky Kaushal's recent release Chhaava, based on the legendary Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, received an overwhelming response at cinemas when it released on February 14. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film features a stellar cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, and others, and is garnering positive reviews from audiences. Its success is also reflected in its impressive box office earnings. However, for Vicky, the true measure of victory goes beyond numbers.


The actor shared a heartfelt video on Instagram featuring a young boy deeply moved as he chants the Shivgarjana, emotionally honoring the great Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his son. Vicky expressed his emotions with a caption that read, “Hamari sabse badi kamayi! Proud of you beta… wish I could give you a hug. Thank you everyone for your love and emotions. We wished for Shambhu Raaje’s story to reach every household in the world… and to see that happening is our greatest victory. #CHHAAVA IN CINEMAS.”

Earlier, Vicky had also posted a video showing a group of men pouring milk on the film's posters while chanting, “Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Ki Jai.”As for the film's box office performance, Chhaava has earned a total of Rs. 116.50 crore in its first weekend. The movie had a strong opening with Rs. 31 crore on its first day. The numbers surged on day two, with Rs. 37 crore, and peaked on Sunday, as the film collected an impressive Rs. 48.50 crore.
