Coronavirus: When Bollywood celebs praised PM Narendra Modi's leadership
The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire world to a standstill and the government of India so far has showed exemplary efforts in trying to curb the spread of the virus. However what stands apart is the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A primary example is Modi's address to the nation regarding coronavirus and its public receptivity has been largely positive.
His was a calm and composed reassurance befitting the leader of a populous democracy that while the governmental machinery is doing its best, the responsibility also lies with the people themselves to make sure that things do not get worse. The Prime Minister's innovative efforts be it the Janta Curfew or the 9PM 9 minute initiative every idea of PM was welcomed by the audience as well as the B-town fraternity with open arms. Let us have a look at what some of the prominent names from Bollywood had to say about Modi's efforts to curb the coronavirus pandemic.
Fellow Indians, Namaskar 🙏 A short while ago, Our PM Saab, Modiji, requested all of us to show resolve & restraint in the face of COVID-19. Please also adhere to the Janta Curfew on 22nd March by staying home. Stay Safe 🙏@PMOIndia@narendramodi#JantaCurfew

Imp initiative by our Honorable PM @narendramodi with #jantacurfew Self-inflicted Quarantine and Staying at HOME on Sunday, March 22 from 7 AM to 9 PM is a measured and sensible way to protect from this pandemic by not creating panic yet acknowledging the gravity of the situatn

For once, stop playing the goddamn critic. Your clever-by-half posts against #jantacurfew are terribly ill timed. The only way we can survive this horrible disaster is if we organise ourselves into a unified force, pronto! Self defeating to pull down the head of state right now.
