As he kicked off his Millionaire India Tour on February 22 night, singer Honey Singh won over the hearts of Mumbai fans. On social media, numerous images and videos of the artist singing were shared, accompanied by applause from a sizable audience. Honey's jab at rival rappers Badshah and Raftaar garnered headlines.
In the viral video he is heard saying, "Kayi log kehte hain ki wo mere bhai hain. Kayi log kehte hain ki mera comeback nahi ho raha. Aur phir kehte hain wo mere gaane likhte the. Aur phir kehte hain ki wo meri takdeer likh denge (Many people say that they are my brothers. They also say that I will never make a comeback. Then, they said that they wrote songs for me. Then they also said that they will write my destiny)."

He further added, "To uspe ek sher sunaaon? Video banao, usko tag karna. Pichle saal meri taqdeer ne kaiyon ke guroor hain tode. Aur tujhe comeback karna padega. (Can I share a poem about that? Record videos, tag him. Last year, my destiny has broken the pride of many. Now you will have to make a comeback)." After that he asked the audience to complete his sentence.
In an interview with India Today last year, Honey Singh said that people often ask him about the conflict or controversy with Badshah. He said, "When two people are involved, a fight breaks out, but for ten years, one man continued to abuse me, make songs about me, and make fun of my disease, and I never reacted. Only this year, in 2024, did I begin to speak up, and my fans were the reason for that."
"Please speak up; this is about our dignity now, they wrote in texts to me. A man is constantly criticising you. They encouraged me to speak up, so I did."
During a performance in Dehradun last year, Badshah stated that he wanted to make peace with Honey. "There was a time in my life when I harboured resentment towards one individual, and I would like to put that behind me and move on," he said to the crowd. "That individual is Honey Singh." A misunderstanding made me unhappy, but I also recognised that there were far more people trying to keep us away than to bring us together when we were together. I simply wanted to let everyone know today that I've moved on and that I hope the best for him," he further mentioned.
Along with Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar, Honey and Badshah were members of the rap group Mafia Mundeer. They have been making fun of each other on social media and in interviews since their split due to a public backlash.
