Aasif Sheikh popularly known as Vibhuti Narayan from sitcom 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai' unfortunately collapsed while shooting a action scene in Dehradun and was immediately rushed to the hospital. This situation has created tense among the fans of Asif and now the 60-year-old actor has issued a statement giving update on his health.
Aasif in his statement stated that, "I started feeling numbness in my foot and then sciatica pain made the situation worse. I was brought on a wheelchair to Mumbai and now I have been advised a complete bed rest."
He further added that," I landed here on the 18th and since then I am taking rest, and my treatment is on. I think for one more week I will take a rest and hope i will be soon in front of the camera."
'Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai' enjoys a large fan base, owing in part to Aasif Shaikh's significant contribution. He, along with Rohitashv Gaur, Shubhangi Atre, Vidisha Srivastava, and other talented actors, continue to bring the series to life. Shaikh, in particular, remains beloved for his portrayal of Vibhuti Narayan.

Apart from television, Aasif Sheikh has also worked in Bollywood. He has worked in films like 'Yes Boss', 'Karan Arjun', 'Jodi No. 1', 'Paheli', 'Bharat' and 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. He has set a record of playing more than 300 different roles in 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain'. Fans and close people are praying for his speedy recovery.
