Television the oldest singing reality show, 'Indian Idol' grand finale of 15 season was held yesterday, April 6 and Manasi Ghosh emerged as the winner of Indian Idol this year. Manasi won the trophy after beating five contestants Sneha Shankar, Subhjit Chakraborty, Aniruddha Suswaram, Priyanshu Dutta and Chaitanya Devdhe. Manasi, who lives in West Bengal, is currently receiving praise.
'Indian Idol' gives a platform to the best singers from all over the country. This year was the 15th season of the show. All the contestants were giving tough coemption and among them, 24-year-old Manasi Ghosh won the show. Her unique singing style won judges and singer's heart. This show was judged by Badshah, Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani. On the day of the finale, Mika Singh, Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon graced the stage. Aditya Narayanan hosted the show finale episode was filled with songs from the 90s. Subhajit Chakraborty emerged as a first runner-up while Sneha Shankar was the second runner-up.

How much did Manasi get?
Upon winning, Manasi Ghosh from West Bengal received the Idol trophy, Rs 15 lakh, and a car. Overjoyed, she expressed gratitude to her parents, guru, judges, and audience, saying she was overwhelmed by their love. Runner-up Sneha Shankar received Rs 5 lakh and, recognizing her mesmerizing voice, TC Series signed the 19-year-old to a contract.
