Kim Fernandez, Jacqueline Fernandez's mother, passed away in a Mumbai hospital on Sunday. Team Jacqueline Fernandez, an official X handle that posts updates about the actress' life, posted on X. Last month, she was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. She was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as her condition was serious. Earlier, Elroy Fernandez, Jacqueline's father, was seen outside the hospital. Jacqueline's mother had a heart stroke and was admitted. In the intensive care unit, Kim was recuperating. Jacqueline has been seen going to the hospital to see her mother in recent weeks. Because her mother wasn't feeling well, Jacqueline didn't attend the IPL ceremony in Guwahati last month.

Sharing the news on its X handle, Team Jacqueline Fernandez posted, “Official Notice: It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Kim Fernandez, Jackie's beloved mother. She has left us too soon, and our hearts go out to Jackie and her family during this incredibly difficult time. May her soul rest in peace!”

Jacqueline Fernandez is in grief for her mother, Kim Fernandez, who passed away tragically. Known for being a strong and encouraging figure in Jacqueline's life, Kim had mostly avoided the spotlight. Sadly, medical efforts were insufficient to rescue her. Jacqueline, who had a close relationship with her mother, has not yet made an official announcement. It is anticipated that close friends and family will attend the private funeral and final ceremonies.

Kim, the mother of Jacqueline Fernandez, suffered a heart attack and was sent to the intensive care unit at Lilavati Hospital on March 24. Jacqueline hurried back to be with her sick mother as soon as she received the news. The actress, who remained close to her mother during the trying time, was often seen in the hospital.

I live here alone without my parents. There are these two people who have been so strong, and they have been such an inspiration for me, which always keeps me going.”

Born in Bahrain's capital of Manama, Jacqueline grew up in a multicultural household. Her father, Elroy Fernandez, is Sri Lankan, while her mother, Kim, was Malaysian and Canadian. Kim was an air hostess in the 1980s when the couple first met.
