The shooting of Kangana Ranaut's much awaited biopic 'Thalaivi' based on the life of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has finally went on floors.

The shooting of Kangana Ranaut's much awaited biopic 'Thalaivi' based on the life of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has finally went on floors. Kangana who was last seen in 'Judgementall Hai Kya' has spent a lot a time to get into the skin of the character. The superstar actress also did quite a few look test for the film.
The producer of the film, Vishnu Induri tweeted about the commencement of the shoot which also features Arvind Swamy as Tamil Nadu CM and veteran actor MG Ramachandran. The cast for rest of the film is yet to be announced meanwhile, GV Prakash has been roped in to compose the music. 'Thalavi' will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and KJ Vijayendra Prasad who wrote Baahubali will be writing the script of the film.
