Looks like another biopic is on the cards, and this time the it is based on the life of former team india skipper Sourav Ganguly. Speculations are rife that ace filmmaker Karan Johar would be making a film on the newly elected BCCI chief. Talking about Sourav Ganguly biopic, there has been no official announcement made yet. As per a report in Mirror, Karan Johar and Dada have met each other couple of times to discuss about this project. The report also cites that the two have already started to look out for the lead actor, who’d be playing his role.

Some of the biopic which was made previously include M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story, Dangal, Budhia Singh: Born To Run, Azhar, Mary Kom, Paan Singh Tomar, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to name a few. Meanwhile, speaking about Karan, the filmmaker is all set to don the director's hat once again with Takht. The movie which features an ensemble star cast includes Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor. The film is expected to go on floors by March 2020.
