Ace producer and director Karan Johar is planning to acquire  the rights of Telugu rom-com  Bheeshma. Kjo recently watched the film and is super impressed. He thinks Bheeshma has the potential to make it to Bollywood Reports are also emerging that  Ranbir Kapoor is being considered to play the role of Nithiin from the original. However, none of these reports have been confirmed yet. ‘

'Bheeshma’ was directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Suryadevara Nagavamsi., Meanwhile, Dharma will be also seen presenting Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s next which is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. On the directorial front Karan was all set for the shoot of his ambitious period drama Takht. He was also out for recce with his team but due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, they had to bring the prep of the film to a halt.
