Kareena Kapoor Stuns in Red at Vivienne Westwood’s Mumbai Show (Watch Video)

Kareena Kapoor, an actress, was photographed at the Vivienne Westwood presentation in Mumbai on April 1. Before entering the event, she posed for pictures while wearing a red gown with a thigh-high split, looking lovely as usual. Kareena can be seen in videos posing for photos at the fashion show wearing a gorgeous red costume that has a corset bodice, off-shoulder sleeves, and a flowing skirt with a thigh-high slit. The actor looked amazing as she posed for pictures and flashed her gold shoes, seemingly unconcerned by the paparazzi's cries for her to turn around. She smiled broadly as she finished posing for pictures, but then she met a show representative and went inside the venue.

According to PTI, the Vivienne Westwood display is taking place at the Gateway of India "to celebrate India's rich textile heritage." The exhibition will feature Vivienne's Spring-Summer 2025 collection, unique archival items, and a capsule collection of couture ensembles made from handwoven Indian silks, Khadi, cotton, and wool. In cooperation with the Maharashtra Department of Textiles, it is being held. It is anticipated that a number of additional celebrities, such as singers and actors, will attend the performance.

Mahatma Gandhi promoted Khadi cotton, which has a long history in India, as a representation of independence. The textiles used in this collection will come from Khadi India, namely from Gwalior, demonstrating the expertise of Indian weavers and their traditional, sustainable methods. The brand is dedicated to working with craftspeople and small-scale heritage production companies in India and abroad under Andreas Kronthaler's creative direction, establishing a cultural link between traditional workmanship and modern high fashion.

Following Dior's stunning 2023 exhibition at the same location, this momentous occasion solidifies Mumbai's position as a major worldwide centre for fashion. Vivienne Westwood died in December 2022 at the age of 81. She was well-known for being a trailblazer in the punk movement. Under the creative direction of her husband, Andreas Kronthaler, her brand is still thriving today.
