Kesari Chapter 2: Alexx O’Nell Reacts to Akshay Kumar’s Use of F-Word, in Teaser
The teaser for Akshay Kumar's eagerly awaited movie Kesari Chapter 2 has already garnered attention, impressing viewers while igniting debate. Akshay's use of the F-word in court during a legal battle against the British Rule is depicted in the teaser, and it soon became the talk of the town. Alexx O'Nell, an American actor who co-stars with Akshay, has now responded to the scene and expressed his opinions about the "genitalia size" dialogue that appears in the movie. He talked candidly about how astonished he was by it in an interview with Times Now. He said he was shocked to see Akshay use the F-word in the teaser.
He said, “I also was quite surprised to see the ‘f**k you’ used in the teaser for Kesari Chapter 2. He (C. Sankaran Nair) was an elite lawyer, judge, and statesman. He would not have used such language. From everything I know about him, his wit or a strong legal rebuke would have been what he used rather than an expletive. It was considered extremely vulgar and generally unprintable, and avoided even in informal writing.”
He added, “I understand why Karan Tyagi (the director) has done it. It’s gotten people talking. It has ignited controversy and drawn attention to the film.”
Speaking about the genitalia size dialogue of Akshay Kumar in the Kesari Chapter 2, he said, “Furthermore, I don't believe that's the only instance of the trailer—or possibly the movie—using a lot of artistic license. I believe that his casual remark regarding General Dyer's genital size while they were meeting in the lavatory is a thinly veiled allusion to the empire's decline.”
Alexx said that he has faith in Akshay Kumar and director Karan Tyagi, saying he thinks Kesari 2 will be a significant and impactful movie in the end.
Kesari Chapter 2 is the sequel to Akshay's 2019 successful film Kesari, which was directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films. Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan play important parts in the historical courtroom drama as well. The movie, which centres on lawyer C. Sankaran Nair and the court case that followed the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre, is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu and Pushpa Palat. On April 18, it is scheduled to be released in theatres.
