Kim Soo Hyun Controversy: Brands Cut Ties, Poster Removed in Aftermath of Dating Scandal with late Actress Kim Sae Ron (Watch Video)

One of the highest-paid actors of South Korea Kim Soo Hyun is in hot waters, after the tragic death of his ex-girlfriend and actor Kim Sae Ron. The deceased family had made some serious allegation on him including underage dating. On Monday after months of media scrutiny and social media trolling actor came forward and addressed allegations made by Kim Sae Ron's family. Being a Public figure in South Korea is a very tedious job, One mistake can cost you your career. In Korea one scandal can bring you down and Kim Soo Hyun controversy is the best example. Right after controversy made headlines the international brand Prada break his ties with Kim Soo Hyun just after three months. Prada said in their statement, 'We would like to inform you that after considering the severity of the issue, our collaboration with Kim Soo Hyun has been mutually concluded. The contract has been terminated.' If you visit south Korea you will see that streets will be filled with actors and pop stars photos. Post controversy all poster were removed. 

Following Kim Sae Ron's suicide on Kim Soo Hyun's birthday this year, her family accused him of paedophilia, alleging he dated her when she was 15 and sharing purported chats and videos as evidence. After Soo Hyun's agency denied the claims, the family further accused him of extorting money from Sae Ron after her DUI incident and driving her to suicide through mental pressure.

What did Kim Soo Hyun Said In Press Conference ?

Kim Soo Hyun admitted to dating Sae Ron but denied her family's claims as false, stating he never dated her while she was a minor and that her death was not a result of his actions or agency pressure. He expressed remorse for the suffering caused to his fans and the deceased, acknowledging his fear and past denial of the relationship while firmly rejecting the specific accusations of manipulation and financial pressure.

Strangely, the even that was highly covered by the press had no media questioning session but just had Soo Hyun crying and presenting his side of the story.
