Days after Koena Mitra  filed a cybercrime complaint against a fake account on Instagram the Mumbai crime branch has identified the imposter.  The fan account has many adult contents and has more than 36k followers. The accused has been identified as Sahil Khan and was using the fake account of actress Koena Mitra for the last six or seven months. For the same, the email ID was attached on the Instagram page and also had suggested that if anyone wants to do a business inquiry, they should contact the given email ID.

A YouTube page was also created by Sahil in the name of Koena Mitra, in which semi-nude content was published. Koena Mitra had taken to her twitter handle to call out the people who are running fake accounts in her name. She also asked the crime branch to look into the matter. Talking about the fake account, Koena had earlier said, "I filed a cybercrime complaint against that person who had also mentioned his e-mail id. I want the police to take strict action against the same and also want them to check whether he is fooling people under my name."
