In a big development, the Narcotics Control Bureau will also join the investigation into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput as per a report in Hinduatan Times. The ED wrote to the NCB, asking it to probe if drug was supplied to Rhea Chakraborty and Rajput.NCB director Rakesh Asthana said, “We received a letter from ED on Tuesday evening, stating that during their probe into the financial aspects, they found that drug was supplied to Rhea and Sushant. An NCB team will now conduct an inquiry and people involved will be questioned.”ED sources said that during their questioning of Jaya Saha, Rhea’s talent manager, they found some conversation between them about some drug.
However, none of the three central agencies provided any details into the form of drug or if it was consumed by any of the persons involved in the case. A day after Rhea Chakraborty's alleged 'drugs-linked' chats gave a new turn to the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Vikas Singh, lawyer of late actor's father on Wednesday said that Rajput was being administered something without his knowledge.
Speaking to Times Now, Singh, who is representing Sushant's father KK Singh in the alleged suicide case, said, "Sushant was administered something without his knowledge. That ultimately led to his death.”The lawyer also said that the late actor’s family had, from the very beginning, been speculating that Rajput could have been given something without his knowledge. Earlier on Tuesday, the ED which is probing money laundering angle in Rajput’s death case shared some evidence to the CBI and the Narcotics Control Bureau about her alleged links to banned drugs.
