Social media users are perplexed by an Instagram account called "Officially Vaddy." The account, which is private, is followed by celebrities including Veer Pahariya, Maheep Kapoor, Sharvari Wagh, Shalini Passi, and Orry. Sharvari Wagh, an actress from War 2, even welcomed the user on Instagram and gave the account a shoutout. Fans are perplexed as to who the Instagram user is, with some suggesting that it could be Ranbir Kapoor. When socialist influencer Orry tagged the account on his Instagram stories and said, "True friends don't let distance change them, they just pick off from where they left them," the odd case of "Officially Vaddy" first gained attention. Following this, Sharwari Wagh welcomed the user on Instagram with a post. Bollywood Wives vs. Fabulous Lives fame, in addition, Shalini Passi said, "I met @officiallyvaddy today and my skin is already glowing," tagging the account.
Even though Officially Vaddy hasn't been made public yet, social media users surmise that Ranbir Kapoor is the owner of the account. Not many people know that the Animal actor has an Instagram account. He recently made a suggestion that the public could access his account. The account does not appear to be associated with Ranbir Kapoor, though, as it does not follow Alia Bhatt or any other Kapoor family member. People are also speculating that the account is a part of a marketing company's PR ploy to announce a new product or line of products.

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor discussed his social media choices. Despite not posting anything on Instagram, the actor acknowledged that he had an account. In response to a question about whether he would ever think about making his account public, the actor told Mashable India, "The problem is that I don't post, and I have no followers. The point, then? Other than that, I have nothing; I only have a handle so I may follow. Thus, there's no use. Don't say never, though, you know. I could open my account to the public, but for now, I'm fine. Despite not using social media, I'm doing okay. As I mentioned, however, never say never."
