Actress Payal Rohtagi who was arrested by the Rajasthan police for allegedly making objectionable comments on Motilal Nehru has been denied bail.

Actress Payal Rohtagi who was arrested by the Rajasthan police for allegedly making objectionable comments on Motilal Nehru has been denied bail. The former Big Boss contestant has been sent to eight day judicial custody by a local court in Bundi till Dec 24th. Payal was booked by the Bundi Police for the objectionable content against the Nehru-Gandhi family.
Rohtagi who is away from the big screen for a while now, is known for making provocative statements on social media. Earlier, she was served a notice with regards to posting inappropriate content relating to Jawaharlal Nehru and India Gandhi. Rajasthan Youth Congress general secretary Charmesh Sharma filed a complaint against the actress. Following the compaint, police had regstered a case under 66 and 67 of the IT Act.

Her lawyer applied for bail But it was rejected.
