The body of a television actor from Odisha, Rashmirekha Ojha was found hanging at her house in the Gadasahi area under Nayapalli police limits of Bhubaneswar. Police said Rashmirekha took the extreme step on the night of June 18 while her dead body was recovered on Sunday.The actress was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her house at around 10.30 pm yesterday. Police rushed to the spot after receiving the information from the landlord of deceased Rashmirekha and sent the body for post-mortem.
Police have initiated an investigation after registering an unnatural death case into the incident, said reports.Police have also found a note on a table near her hanging body. Police believe the note was written by the actress. The actress wrote in the suicide note that she will miss her father. “Miss you, baba. I will miss you from heaven. I am a bad girl,” Rashmirekha reportedly wrote in her suicide note.The police said the actress held none responsible for her death and handed over Rashmirekha's body to her family members after the post-mortem today.As per a report of Odisha Television (OTV), Rashmirekha, who hailed from the Tirtol area of Jagatsinghpur, lived in a rented house with her male friend Santosh Patra for one and half months. However, her live-in partner moved out of the house a few days back and started living separately.
