Actress and Punjab Kings co-owner, Preity Zinta received her second dose of COVID-19 vaccine today in Mumbai. The Kya Kehna actress,  took to her Twitter  handle to share the update with her fans and also urged them to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Preity shared a photo of herself in which the actress can be seen wearing a black top paired with jeans and a mask. Preity wrote "I took my covid shots and I am vaccinated. I would request everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible so we are all safe."

The Punjab Kings owner recently took to Instagram and stated that "These are tough times for everyone. A lot of our friends, families & fellow Indians are devastated by this pandemic. We all must try in our individual capacity to help out by making a difference financially, emotionally & mentally. Part of this is being socially responsible by wearing masks, following all the COVID protocols & being more sensitive & compassionate towards others."She added, "I’m not home but I’m grateful that I’m safe and I sincerely hope being a part of the IPL we can keep people safe at home by providing them with some relief & something to look forward to in these trying times.
