Popular actor, director R Madhavan is currently making headlines for all wrong reasons. As per the assumptions he is engaging in flirtatious chats with young girls or responding to kiss emojis. Now, the actor has spoken out to clarify the situation and dispel these misunderstandings.
R Madhavan stated, “This app will help parents know when their child is using social media. For example, as an actor, I receive messages on Instagram. A young girl once wrote to me, ‘I saw this movie and loved it. You’re a fabulous actor and motivate me,’ followed by hearts and kisses.
"When fans engage with me like this, I feel compelled to respond, saying, ‘Thank you, that’s very kind of you, God bless you.’ She then screenshots my reply and posts it on Instagram. People see the hearts and my response, leading to misconceptions about my intentions. I only meant to acknowledge her message, not to create a public narrative. If I have to be cautious about my social media interactions, imagine the challenges for those without my experience,” he added.
Madhavan addressed the undue scrutiny on social media during the launch of Parent Geenee Inc, a location-based parental control app in Chennai, where he is an investor and strategic partner.
On Workfront, Madhavan was last seen in 'Hisaab Barabar' which explores bank scams. Next, he has numerous films lined up in Tamil and Hindi. In Tamil, he will soon be seen in 'Adhirshtasaali' and 'Test'. In Hindi, he will star in 'Amriki Pandit', 'De De Pyaar De 2', 'Kesari Chapter 2' and 'Dhurandhar'.
