Ranbir lands in trouble for breaking parking rules, police locks actor's car

Actor Ranbir Kapoor found himself on the wrong side of the law after the Barfi star parked his car at the no parking zone. According to a E-times report, the Mumbai police impounded the actor's car  by placing a lock on the tyres amidst the streets. Reportedly, his car was parked in a ‘no parking’ zone which compelled the police to take action. On the personal front, Ranbir's uncle, actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 58.

Earlier, the Kapoor family shared a statement saying that a chautha will not be held for Rajiv, in keeping with the Covid-19 safety guidelines. "Due to the current pandemic circumstances, there will be no chautha held for the Late Mr. Rajiv Kapoor for safety reasons. May his soul rest in peace. The entire Raj Kapoor family is a part of your grief too," it read. Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa Malhotra, and others were seen at Rajiv’s house in Chembur on Friday.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has a series of films lined up for release. The actor has been shooting for Brahmāstra with lady love Alia Bhatt which is in its final phase. The actor also has Luv Ranjan's untitled love story with Shraddha Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal with Anil Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in his kitty. Ranbir's has been away from the big screen for a very long time. The 38-year old's last release was Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju which released in 2018.
