Sara Ali Khan Reveals the Reason Behind Her Frequent Visits to Kedarnath and Its Meaning in Her Life

Sara Ali Khan is one of the most talented, beautiful, and hardworking actresses of current times. She has become the generation's voice with her remarkable performances, winning hearts with every role. Since her debut in Kedarnath, she has consistently delivered strong performances and has become a prominent face in Bollywood. Beyond acting, Sara is deeply spiritual and holds Kedarnath close to her heart, crediting it for her personal discovery. Many believed her attachment to the holy place began while shooting Kedarnath, but that’s not true. Sara revealed that she had visited Kedarnath much earlier and shared why it remains a special place for her.

Sara revealed when she visited Kedarnath for the first time, “I feel a sense of home and discovery there. When I first went to Kedarnath, I wasn't an actor. I studied in New York and hadn't been out and about in our country. It was one of the first times I saw those mountains and valleys, felt that energy in the temple and the valley in general,”  The actress expressed how the place holds a special place in her heart, “I can't imagine that there were two whole decades of Sara without Kedarnath. I can't imagine that today. It is a very humbling feeling to go to Kedarnath. I discovered myself as an actor, an adult, a working girl, and as someone who is spiritually inclined" After the success of Sky Force, Sara Ali Khan has an exciting lineup of films gearing up for release. She is set to star in Anurag Basu’s anthology Metro... In Dino alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. The film, a spiritual successor to Life in a... Metro explores modern love stories. Additionally, she is reportedly collaborating with Ayushmann Khurrana on a new project, generating buzz among fans.

Meanwhile, the revered Char Dham Yatra is all set to begin in April. For the unversed, Kedarnath is a part of this yatra. It is considered as one of the most pure pilgrimage journey for Hindus. Lakhs of people take it every year for their spiritual enlightenment.It takes place across four ancient sacred temples: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The 2025 Char Dham Yatra will commence on April 30. While it is a divine experience, it also presents challenges such as high-altitude travel, unpredictable weather and physical exertion.

Registration Date And Process: The devotees need to be registered before the yatra begins. The process started on March 2. It can be done both online and offline. For ease, you can use the state registration app.While general darshan can be conducted through token systems, special rituals may need advanced bookings.
