Actor - director Pankaj Kapur in a recently concluded event opened up about his son desribing him as one of the best actors of his generation. The doting father was all praise on some of Shahid's recent relases like Kabir Singh and Padmaavat which he says proved his son's acting prowess. Continuing further Pankaj Kapur revealed that “My son has been wiser than me in terms of his career graph. He saw to it that he became a star first and start to get all the roles that he wanted to do. I think it was a smarter move.”
On the work front, Shahid will be next seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri's Hindi remake of hit Telugu film 'Jersey.' Shahid will be essaying the role of a cricketer in the film and has already begun prepping up for the movie. The actor recently posted a pic on his social media giving the audience a glimpse of his new film which has already created a lot of buzz among fans.
