Salman Khan made a comeback on big screen after 2 years with film Sikandar opposite Chaava fame actress Rashmika Mandanna. The film was released on special occasion Eid on Sunday March 30. The AR Murugadoss film has now crossed the ₹160 crore mark at the box office, becoming the fifth highest-grossing Indian film this year in just five days. On fifth day figures show that the Salman Khan starrer film earned Rs. 8.28 Cr gross in India, while Rs. 3 Cr worldwide. In total five-day collection sums up to Rs 169.78 cr. According to current scenario film should cross Rs. 200cr by Monday. However, the drop in earrings shows that drama struggles to reach the Rs 300 cr mark, which is a big setback for Salman Khan. Meanwhile, Malayalam film L2: Empuraan, released three days prior, has already surpassed Rs 250 crore globally and continues to outperform Sikandar at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Salman Khan's Sikandar earned an estimated Rs 1.91 crore on Friday, bringing India's Net earnings to an estimated Rs 92.16 crore.
However, Salman's Sikandar has managed to beat one south hit from this year. Sikandar has now earned more than Tamil sleeper hit Dragon, which ended its box office run at ₹150 crore. This makes Sikandar the 5th highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, behind only Chhaava, L2 Empuraan, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and Game Changer. The Salman film should cross Ram Charan's Game Changer this weekend, too.
