Sushant Singh Rajput's father clueless about son's depression and his subesquent treatment reveals Mumbai Police

Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise has shocked the entire nation with many ugly truth of Bollywood coming out of the closet. As widely being reported, the Kedarnath star was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for the same.  Since then, various speculative reports are doing the rounds in the media. The Mumbai police which is currently investigating the case said his father was not aware about his son's battle with depression and his subsequent treatment for the illness.

The police is said to have recorded statement of Sushant's father and his two sister before their departure to Delhi. Moreover, the family has ruled out any foul play in the actor's death. Meanwhile, his father in his statement to the cops did admit that Sushant often felt a bit low. Rajput (34) was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his Bandra (West) home on Sunday afternoon. 

A preliminary post-mortem at Cooper Hospital confirmed the cause of death as asphyxia due to hanging. Thus far, the police have recorded statements of nine people close to him, including his family members, cook, caretaker and managers. Following state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh’s tweet on Monday, the official said the police might also speak to Rajput’s friend Mahesh Shetty once more to understand whether “professional rivalry” was the reason he was depressed.
