Fans of Rahul Roy have reasons to rejoice, as the Junoon actor is on his way to recovery, and the first video of the actor after suffering brain stroke has now gone viral. In the small clip, Rahul can be seen smiling and waving.According to a E-times report, Rahul is recovering well, and has started his physio exercises in the garden itself. The report further adds that the actor spoke to his family friend-producer Ashwani Kumar in Delhi for sometime. Squashing rumours of Rahul Roy being unconscious, Nitin Kumar Gupta director of Rahul's latest project said, “I’ve been in constant touch with his medical staff and his twin Rohit. The latter, who lives in Canada, told me on Thursday morning that Rahul’s physiotherapy and speech therapy is going well. 

Rohit spoke to Rahul for half a minute and informed that Rahul is conscious and speaking a few sentences. Thanks to everyone’s prayers, he is doing better every day.”Besides, Nitin also quashed reports of the actor requiring a a surgical procedure to prevent future attacks of brain stroke. Speaking to ETimes a few days ago, Rahul's brother-in-law Romeer Sen also denied reports of the actor undergoing any surgical procedure. For the unversed, Rahul Roy had suffered the stroke while shooting for a digital film LAC: Live the Battle in Kargil. His health deteriorated due to the extreme weather condition there. Rahul was then airlifted to Mumbai and admitted to the ICU at Nanavati Hospital.
